The production method of the collector is truly subversive. The glass and aluminium backing are pressed to form a robust whole with a very clean appearance and weather resistance.
The double-wall anodised aluminium frame is a global innovation that provides great strength and better insulation, and therefore better performance.
The closed circuit of the heat exchanger of the tank has been completely redesigned, after many laboratory studies, in order to achieve the fastest possible heating of the water from the collector.
High performance
The Mark4 collector gives the system really high performance. It has a Tinox high-selective absorber (e<3,5%) with one copper tube per 10cm and ultrasonic welding. The glass is low iron with high permeability (T>91,5%).
The thermal loss coefficient of the collector is one of the best officially measured in Europe (a1=3.56). The certified efficiency of Mark4 collectors is 946 kWh/m²/year, ensuring energy sufficient to cover 90% of hot water needs.
