The Prisma solar water heater by Calpak has a net nominal capacity of 300 liters and is suitable to meet the hot water needs of up to 7 people. It is manufactured according to international standards and carries all the certificates and test reports that confirm its quality. It is an alternative option for hot water production, which is completely environmentally friendly and is considered ideal for areas with high sunshine, such as Greece.
It is dual-energy, meaning that it can operate in two ways: solar or electric. This means that inside the water tank there is an electrical resistance, so that on days when there is little sunshine due to cloudy weather you can operate your solar water heater with electricity, and always have hot water.
The water storage tank has an internal enamel coating, which coats the inside of the tank at every point and results from the application of enamel (glass) to metal. As a result, it is protected from rust, since the water does not come into contact with the walls, thus ensuring clean drinking water at all times.
Its collector has a surface area of 4m², capable of producing up to 400 litres of hot water for domestic use. It is selective, the type most commonly used in recent years in solar water heaters. It has lower heat losses than a simple collector, and therefore higher efficiency.
